Locked in a circulation war with rival, mobster-backed newspaper The Post, Daily News editors Ken Dwyer (Ray Walker) and J.M. Hardy (Regis Toomey) also compete with each other over lovely staff cartoonist Randy Burns (Evalyn Knapp). But when gangsters kidnap the beautiful artist after she witnesses a murder, the dueling editors must band together to save the woman they both love. Charles Lamont directs this entertaining thriller.
