In this animated retelling of Charles Kingsley's adventure story, England is preparing for an attack by the Spanish Armada, which plans to replace Queen Elizabeth. Meanwhile, Amyas Leigh sails to Ireland to combat a Spanish force led by Don Guzman, who's kidnapped the lovely Rose Salterne. Leigh pursues Guzman across the Atlantic, battling everything from fever to the poisoned arrows of jungle natives.
