Two jaded Texas cops, Bobby Logan (Kris Kristofferson) and Ernie Wyatt (Treat Williams), stumble upon a 1960s-model jeep hidden in the desert that houses a human skeleton, a gun and nearly a million dollars in cash. Logan wants to take the money and never look back, but Wyatt aims to solve the mystery. Both will be wishing they got out while they could when they realize their discovery is linked to the JFK assassination.
