Inspired by Alexandre Dumas's classic novel, this 1933 serial stars John Wayne as American pilot Lt. Tom Wayne. When French foreign legionnaires Clancy (Jack Mulhall), Renard (Raymond Hatton) and Schmidt (Ralph Bushman) survive a raid, Wayne comes to their rescue. The three legionnaires band together à la the musketeers, and return the favor when a sinister foe frames Wayne for murder. Lon Chaney Jr. co-stars.
