Hans Christian Andersen's classic tale "The Little Mermaid" comes to life in this animated film. A mermaid blessed with a beautiful singing voice, Princess Miranda saves a drowning prince on her 15th birthday. Miranda falls in love with the prince, but the young mermaid must find a way to remain on land in order to be with him. Desperate, Miranda allows the evil sea witch to give her legs in exchange for her lovely singing voice.
