Migs (Miguel Aviles) is 18 years old and ready to make his own decisions about his life. For two years, he's run his incarcerated father's drug business, a secret he's kept from his mother, a tough-minded New York City cop. Despite his allegiances, Migs seeks independence from his parents and hopes to win the heart of a girl named Jessica (Annie Basulto).
