Lonely and bereft, Wendy Robinson (Chelsea Field) drives aimlessly through the desert, pausing only to pick up a handsome drifter (Robert John Burke). Unfortunately for her, that handsome drifter turns out to be a shape-shifting killer. The better news is that a local police officer is already in hot pursuit. Previously deleted footage has been restored in this cut of Richard Stanley's atmospheric thriller.
