When Marine Arne (Fran Kranz) returns home from a tour of duty in Iraq to find no one waiting for him at the airport, he embarks on a journey through the Pacific Northwest to find his father (Whip Hubley) -- and a sense of belonging. Along the way, Arne learns about a new family member, bonds with British flight attendant Sylvie (Elize du Toit) and crosses paths with a veteran who's still grappling with his memories of the first Gulf War.
