While vacationing in a small town, merciless Chicago art critic M.J. Clayton (Bronson Pinchot) makes a drunken bet that any moron can make art. But soon enough, M.J.'s foolish wager lands him in the town's art festival competition. With a little help from a gifted local painter (Toni Trucks), the talent-free M.J. must masquerade as a genuine artist in this charming independent comedy, shot on location in northern Michigan.
