Gifted surgeon Nick Cavanaugh (Julian Sands) seems to have it all -- except his heart's fondest desire: coldhearted temptress Helena (Sherilyn Fenn), who unceremoniously dumps him after a one-night stand. Though she repeatedly rebuffs Nick, he maintains his obsessive pursuit. When Helena becomes a hit-and-run victim in front of Nick's mansion, the disarming doctor takes her inside, imprisons her and literally turns her into his personal Venus.
