Fierce People
2005

With her son's father miles away studying a South American tribe, a New York City massage therapist (Diane Lane) accepts as job as a live-in personal masseuse for a very wealthy family to shield her teenage son (Anton Yelchin) from the troubles of a more pedestrian life. But tragedy teaches them both that high society has its barbaric ways too. Donald Sutherland and Kristin Stewart also star this adaptation of a novel by Dirk Wittenborn.
Synopsis compliments of Netflix
Drama, Indie

Lots of details and twists to the plot, making it feel more like a book than a standard film. While interesting with a good cast - definitely not a happy film, and certainly a bit strange.
