To help land a big ad account, notorious player Ben (Matthew McConaughey) makes a wager with his co-workers that he can get a woman to fall in love with him in just 10 days. But he bets on the wrong girl -- a women's magazine writer (Kate Hudson) with her own hidden agenda. Turns out she's writing an article on how to get rid of a guy in 10 days -- and she's set on seeing her story through to completion.
