Oliver Stone takes on the saga of Alexander the Great (Colin Farrell), the Macedonian warrior who became legendary for his military might. Although Alexander's leadership was unflinching and his politics cunning, his interior life was as complicated as he was and included a strange relationship with his mother (Angelina Jolie), a complex marriage and a male lover. The total run time for this film is 175 minutes. The unrated Blu-Ray version is called Alexander Revisited: The Final Cut and has a total run time of 213 minutes.
