It's life in the demimonde when a 21-year-old drifter and her bum fiancé intertwine with other sordid characters (a couple of drug addicts and a pimp) at a low-budget motel in Southern California. Before long, all their lives take an unexpected turn. Christina Ricci, Lolita Davidovich, Timothy Olyphant, Robert Wagner, Olek Krupa, Steven Schub and Patricia Velasquez star as the patchwork of fringe dwellers in this episodic comedy.
