Very powerful movie. Elements of racism, women's lib and love all mixed into one fine film. The strongest note to this movie is the end, were you learn the meaning of regret.

Mickey Rourke is back. This movie cut me to my heart. sad but honest in its approach. I read that rowdy Roddy piper cried after watching this movie. I love it's focus on the main character.

Besides being plagiarized from a novella, and some lines are Corney, the story line is excellent. I didn't like that there was no background story to Pandora, but maybe there will be in the sequel

I thought this going to be just another spin on another vampire movie. But I've never seen a vampire like this. Its more of a love story than a horror movie. There are some chilling parts, but the love makes the gore beautiful, if that makes sense.

Saw it the other day. Johnny depps performance was excellent. Make sure to watch this movie in the 3D version. They give you glass's. I recommend not watching it without the glass's, Thus its appeal.

Heath ledger made this movie for me, Bale annoys me with his batman voice. and Maggie Gyllenhaal as maggie is horrible. if it wasnt for these 2 factors, the movie would be perfect. Great directing and good writing.

I really wanted Anthony hopkins to get away with the murder. (Cheating wife and all), other than that, the acting was excellent.
