Sean Connery stars as progressive Arab diplomat Khalil Abdul-Muhsen, a man who wants to make peace with Israel and admit the nation as a member of OPEC. But Khalil's plan gets sidetracked when members of the international oil cartel begin turning up dead -- and it's only a matter of time before he's next. The plot thickens when he meets the woman of his dreams (Cornelia Sharpe), whose affections may mask more sinister motives.
