Still reeling from a heartbreaking family event and his parents' subsequent divorce, Tyler Hawkins (Robert Pattinson) discovers a fresh lease on life when he meets Ally Craig (Emilie de Ravin), a gregarious beauty who witnessed her mother's death. A little slow in parts with lots of 21-year-old angst, but ultimately rings true and has a surprise ending. Not a romantic comedy as I expected, but a romantic drama that is very poignant in parts.
