An old but replayable classic. Mario Kart before all the especially ridiculous weapons were put in (though red shell is still pretty ridiculous). Catchy music.
The one thing I do like about the ridiculous weapons - it makes the MK games a fantastic party choice. Anyone who plays their items right can jump from fourth to first in the last few seconds of a race, so it's a competition all the way through.
It took me a couple seconds to stop wondering "Why is someone talking about Mortal Kombat on my Mario Kart review?" :-)
Haha, we used to play Mortal Kombat on Gameboy incessantly during grade school. Loved that.
