Paris When it Sizzles
1964

Richard Benson (William Holden) is a screenwriter living in Paris with a big-time Hollywood movie project to complete. Having squandered months enjoying the magic of France's greatest city, Benson now has just two days to finish. When he asks his secretary (Audrey Hepburn) to help brainstorm ideas, she concocts a potpourri of preposterous plots -- all of which are played out on the screen with the writer and secretary as the stars.

There was one great drunken monologue scene near the very end - but the rest of the film is full of distracting plot rewrites and overacting, with plenty of voiceover.
