In this adventure story set at the turn of the century, Sir Anthony Ross (Donald Sinden) arranges an airship expedition to the Arctic to look for his son, who has disappeared while searching for a Viking tribe. As they comb the frozen land, the rescuers come across the Vikings, but are forced to run for their lives when threatened by the Vikings' kin, who will do anything to prevent the world from finding out about their clan.
