This animated feature, based on the legendary Jules Verne classic, examines what happens when a mysterious underwater creature is spotted off the shores of New England in 1886. Residents near the shoreline are horrified as they witness the creature attacking vessels off the coast. It's up to scholarly marine biologist Pierre Aronnax and his down-to-earth right-hand man, Ned, to tame the beast and discover its origins.
