Acerbic comedian Denis Leary stars in this FX channel series as Tommy Gavin, a firefighter whose job requires him to be at the ready to save other people's lives -- even though his own is falling apart. Tommy's marriage is in a complete shambles now that he's divorced, and he's hanging on to sanity by a thread. So when his ex (Andrea Roth) decides to start dating again, Tommy decides to move across the street from her.
