Panicked over losing her full ride to college, fiercely career-driven coed Marti (Alyson Michalka) fights her way onto the Hellcats, Lancer University's famed cheerleading squad, which she and her coach (Sharon Leal) desperately try to lead to another national title. But as Marti cozies up to her hunky squad partner, Lewis (Robbie Jones), she draws fire from his jealous ex-girlfriend, Alice (Heather Hemmens).

Obviously a teen show, with plenty of cheerleaders for the guys. That said, it has a bit more depth because of Alyson Michalka's unconventional character.
