Dark Metropolis

Writer-director Stewart St. John's sci-fi flick is set in 2022 and centers on The Channeler and her love-filled efforts to defend Hollow Earth and all of humankind from menacing, genetically enhanced beings. The Channeler communicates with non-physical energy called Kalendoah -- thoughts that are "more powerful than an army of action" -- but the subversive Ghen, including politician Crecilius Pryme, prove to be viscious enemies.

A little bad acting, a lot of eyeliner, and an oddly paced story. One of those films that seems like it might have potential, but after it's over you want your time back.
