Monte Walsh
2003
The dawn of the 20th century saw the death-knell of the traditional cowboy way of life. Ranch hand Monte Walsh (Tom Selleck) is a Wyoming rambler whose way of life is fast becoming obsolete, and the widening economic gap is leaving behind Monte and his companions. Many of them "ride fence" for rich landowners, so something has to give. Keith Carradine and Isabella Rossellini co-star is this elegy to the American West.
Synopsis compliments of Netflix
Action, Adventure, Western
I'm not much of a fan of westerns, but Tom Selleck plays a decent cowboy. Kind of a prankster, he plays a bronco buster with a heart of gold. Cowboy stuff happens, people get shot. Not bad, just not great.
