Gamer
2009
It's 2034, and humans can control and kill each other in a large-scale online gaming world. But Kable (Gerard Butler), a wrongfully convicted soldier forced to join the violent competition, tries to free himself by taking out its evil architect, Ken (Michael C. Hall). While being controlled by a rich kid (Logan Lerman), Kabel must also save his wife, Angie (Amber Valletta), who's trapped in her own avatar world.
Synopsis compliments of Netflix
Sci-Fi, Thriller
Beside the end scene with Michael (Dexter) this film was waste of time. Nicely shot at times and some good visual, but totally ruined with messed up story and characters of no depts what so ever. Sad to see Gerard Butler in such b-movie.
A straight-up unapologetic action movie, with a little nudity thrown in for flavor. Not much depth, but a decent popcorn flick with good acting.
