Intimate Affairs
2001

In 1920s Cambridge, Mass., a group of intellectuals, led by the principled Edgar (Dermot Mulroney), probe the science of sex. But the presence of two tempting stenographers (Robin Tunney and Neve Campbell) makes it hard for these high-minded gentlemen to concentrate. Maverick director Alan Rudolph oversees a winning ensemble that includes Alan Cumming, Julie Delpy, Terrence Howard and Nick Nolte in this witty period farce.
Synopsis compliments of Netflix
Comedy, Romance

Neve Campbell was excellent and compelling, unfortunately she only does a fraction of the acting in this film. The men spent far too much time chattering meaninglessly in an intellectual sounding manner.
