My Mom's New Boyfriend
2008

Calling it a conflict of interest would be a serious understatement when up-and-coming federal agent Henry Durand (Colin Hanks) lands the most awkward of awkward assignments: spying on his mom (Meg Ryan) and her new boyfriend (Antonio Banderas). Director George Gallo also penned the screenplay to this romance-drama with a comedic twist, inspired by the Alfred Hitchcock classic To Catch a Thief. Selma Blair co-stars.

Comedy, Romance

Selma Blair is great, but the rest of this movie is predictable and cliche in so many ways. Meg Ryan in a fat suit is not a pretty sight. The only original part of the plot - spying on his mom - is only tied into the plot with a few obvious gags.
