Pushing Daisies
Easygoing baker Ned (Lee Pace) can bring things back to life with his touch, so he uses his gift to help private eye Emerson Cod (Chi McBride) solve murders. But there's a caveat: A second touch will doom the revived forever. So when Ned brings his childhood sweetheart (Anna Friel) back to life, they can never, ever touch -- but that doesn't stop them from falling in love. Swoosie Kurtz co-stars in this short-lived, but Emmy-winning, series.

Kristin Chenoweth is amusing, and the soul of this show even though she's a supporting character. It's a novel concept, but the show gets repetitive after about half a season. Wonderfalls and Dead Like Me are much more enjoyable
