After taking a job in the Big Apple as assistant to powerful fashion magazine editor Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep, in an Oscar-nominated role), small-town girl Andrea Sachs (Anne Hathaway) is thrilled -- at least until the magic wears off, and she's left feeling battered and used. Just finally read the book and re-watched the movie--better than the book! Wonderful cast and a satisfying adaptation. Streep's complex Miranda Priestly is perfection.
Seriously well done - Meryl Streep and Stanley Tucci are fantastic. Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt add some great humor to the film.
