I have nothing bad to say about this game. The interesting and fun story, unique graphical style, and amazingly fun and un-grindy gameplay win out over my usual JRPG wariness. Why can't Final Fantasy be more like this?
It came out in 1995 and it's still my favorite game of all time. No game has ever had such a great storyline, battle system, and freedom. The second half of the game is completely free/sandbox. You will beat this game a ton of times.
My favorite RPG ever. The battle system is unique and in my opinion the best made of any RPG. Amazing music, great story, and a lot of replay value.
