Lawyer Kate Reed (Sarah Shahi) is becoming fed up with her profession -- especially since her domineering stepmother (Virginia Williams) took control of the family firm after her father's death. So Kate ditches her job to become a conflict mediator in this drama series. Unfortunately, Kate's only good at solving other people's problems, as she courts a lot of drama in her personal life -- mostly involving her ex-husband, Justin (Michael Trucco).

This sassy new show has a lot of potential. It has more humor than most sitcoms - but in a subtle way - and a broad cast that promises continually entertaining plots. This isn't your typical lawyer TV drama.
