Eulogy
2004

When three generations of the Collins clan convene for the funeral of the family's patriarch (Rip Torn), the gathering becomes a collusion of dysfunctional relations, as seen from the perspective of granddaughter Kate (Zooey Deschanel), who must write the eulogy. The oddball relatives include Kate's dad (Hank Azaria), a supporting actor in porn movies, and Aunt Lucy (Kelly Preston), who announces her engagement to her partner (Famke Janssen).

This film reminded me a little of The Family Stone, though it was funnier and more outrageous in a juvenile sort of way. The cast is great, there are a lot of recognizable faces, and the plot is good - sometimes predictable but usually amusing
