A fun and sometimes hilarious classic about five kids stuck in detention for a day. Great character development and dialog throughout - a must see!

An odd mix of conspiracy and adventure, though definitely not an action film. Even though it's different than normal genres, it works.

Billed as a period film, but the accents and cadence were way off for a number of the main characters. The plot was slow and relatively uninteresting as well. A nice looking film with poor content.

As the name implies, it's a heist movie - the plot is good and Delroy Lindo carries through, but the rest of the cast has an apathetic air about them, and that spoils the movie a little bit.

Foreign with subtitles. I'm sure this film was supposed to have some deep or profound message, but it just seemed to be an abundance of slow and meaningless conversations to me.

Megan Fox delivers a pretty poor performance, but Amanda Seyfried is fairly good. Luckily she has about half the lines in the movie, so it doesn't totally suck.

A Law & Order: Trial by Jury type drama - featuring the prosecutors vs the public defenders office. The cast is fairly good, and the stories are solid, but there is nothing to set it apart as a truly great show.

Kristen Bell is fairly good - Not great, but not bad for a Lifetime movie. Not a happy movie, but the ending is interesting.

Brad Pitt plays an excellent crazy dude. Aside from that this was mediocre at best - with a simple story with similarities to The Butterfly Effect, plodding along slowly.

Timothy Olyphant isn't right for this role, but Kevin Smith is fantastic. Jennifer Garner does an alright job, but Juliette Lewis is a horrible fit. All the good and bad balances out into a mediocre mix, but it does have some pretty funny moments.

A classic comedy about the misadventures of office life. Not hilarious, but it has its moments.

Not only was this as shallow as a normal teen movie, it also made an embarrassing attempt to be an awkward comedy. It felt like a mishmash of two genres that didn't quite meld. Oh and the acting was pathetic

Angelina Jolie but plays the role of a flawed yet realistic girl well. Elizabeth Mitchell is great too, I didn't notice her the first time since I hadn't seen Lost. Jolie seemed older than 18 at the beginning, but it wasn't a critical error

Fun though sometimes over the top, a bit like Vegas itself I guess. The cast is generally pretty good, though a few seasons some of the main characters go missing for storyline reasons, which is a shame.

A UK show - somewhat similar to Las Vegas but much more sedate and realistic. Some people might find it a big boring, but I think it's fascinating in its own way. Cast changes in season 3 ruined the chemistry of the show a bit
