Transformers: Dark of the Moon
2011

The third installment in Michael Bay's trilogy travels back to 1969's historic moon landing, when Neil Armstrong and his Apollo 11 cohorts touch down in the Sea of Tranquility ... and discover what appears to be a downed Transformers craft. Flash forward to the present, and the Decepticons are ready to exact revenge on Optimus Prime and the rest of the Autobots. Shia LaBeouf returns as Sam Witwicky, the Autobots' human ally.

Just as great as the others in the series. Of particular note is how the human antagonist is situated to deserve our pity but doesn't.

For a movie full of incredible action, this one is forgettable and feels every minute of its nearly three hours. With bizarre, unnecessary plot asides (Wang? Really?), and twists that only serve to turn the plot to swiss cheese, I give it a 2.5.

Towards the end was all action and little story line, not to bad if you like that thing but i just wanted it to hurry up and finish

Replacing Megan Fox with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is one of the best things Michael Bay has done for this series. Far better than either of the previous movies, this one manages to have a good flow throughout, and solid cast/acting.
