Michelle Pfeiffer is really the star of this movie - Michael Keaton just didn't seem very invested in his role, and Danny DeVito was a bit over the top in his penguin role.

Somewhat amusing, though not as consistently funny as Californication or Dead Like Me.

As much as I hated Laura Harris at the beginning of Dead Like Me, by the end she was rather endearing, and Sarah Wynter doesn't really do the role justice. The back-story was retold in a bland fashion, and not much added to the original series

A reasonably fun, though slightly ludicrous sci-fi adventure. Hilary Swank and DJ Qualls are the best, though the whole cast is reasonably good.

Meryl Streep does a good job of showing how inhumane people can be if they think they have a righteous cause. However, Jake Gyllenhaal was snooze-worthy and a good portion of the movie was spent following a largely irrelevant relationship.

Fun and original story with a good cast, though replacing Rebecca Gayheart with Laura Harris was a huge (and super annoying) mistake. It also isn't quite clear how the reapers get on top of buildings, yet can't manage to climb a tree.

Not as good as Alice, but still pretty cool for a TV mini-series. Some of the cast is great, others are mediocre. Zooey Deschanel was perfect for this role, and unintentionally hilarious in parts.

Solid, but not spetacular. John Travolta is generally a pretty good bad guy - but there is nothing special about this film to set it apart from other action movies. I think Swordfish is a better choice for a Travolta villain movie.

So outrageously silly it actually becomes kind of funny again. The cast is fairly good as well and it's nice to see Eliza Dushku in a likable role. The soundtrack for this movie is pretty fun as well.

Fairly good, you almost don't notice Keanu Reeves monotone acting. It's easy to see why this film made Sandra Bullock famous - she managed to capture the viewer while being a secondary character.

Decent drama about terrorism in the middle east from the point of view of a CIA field agent. Leaned more toward realism - not a lot of gun battles and combat scenes - consequently it was interesting but not super exciting.

A slightly silly Tim Allen comedy, probably pretty funny for kids though. The Mafia seemed a little out of place, but besides that it was a decent story with a feel-good ending.

A great western with people who actually hit what they're shooting at - a refreshing change from modern action movies. Kevin Costner is excellent comic relief as the hyper sidekick.

Ditzy teen comedy, but by the end it manages to have a little depth - somewhat like Legally Blonde.

A little bit corny and goofy, but overall a cute movie probably geared toward young teens. Although there are names and elements that clearly come from Snow White, the film as a whole has little to do with the classic fairy tale.
