Madeline Carroll is excellent, and Kevin Costner plays well with her.

Parts of this are what a teen/young adult movie should be - not that awkward teen boy hyperbole or raunchy college romp the studios keep shoving at us. The cast was perfect except for Clark Gregg - who didn't really fit.

The beginning of this movie is a bit similar to Secretary. Nicole Kidman is fantastic in the role, I give her props for an excellent acting job. Totally unexpected

Pretty much like Nip/Tuck with a little more nudity (Australian show) and a different line of work.

Kristen Wiig is a supporting part, but she really shines in this movie. Kind of fun, but not particularly compelling in any way. Some of the skating sequences are pretty amusing, and the characters are colorful, but the overarching story is bland.

The acting was fine I guess, but I was expecting a lot more from this cast. John Krasinski is the best character by far. The Family Stone beats this by a mile, and Meryl Streep was far better in The Devil Wears Prada.

A campy but enjoyable sci-fi show. No CGI, just old school props and costumes.

The start was fine, but about a third of the way in it devolved into a crazy Vegas story somewhat like The Hangover - pretty much unrelated to the first part. The last third was somewhat related, but not as good as the start.

Animated, but not necessarily a kids movie. Extremely well done, and pretty cute.

Catherine O'Hara is somewhat annoying, but overall the cast is good and the movie is really cute. A bit of a kids movie, but fun for adults too.

Acting was a bit detached and low-key for the story. Not a bad movie, just not compelling in any way.

Interesting premise, but the execution was horrible and the movie felt like it dragged on forever.

More depth and humor than a normal romantic comedy - the cast of this movie is excellent, and the story is pretty good too.

Like an overacted version of Mean Girls or Wild Child - both of which are far better choices than this movie.

The acting and story were pretty good, so I'm not sure why I didn't really enjoy this movie. Maybe it was a bit too realistic, not cinematic enough?
