Wonderful single-player mode as expected, and a surprisingly strong co-op mode as well. Great expansion of the universe from the original game. Strong design throughout. This game is frankly just about as close to flawless as any game can be.

Very high quality graphics for its time, but the game itself is a consistently unoriginal Zelda clone, with no real challenge or surprises. Apparently this started out as an original IP, and Star Fox was only slapped on late in development.

If this game had only its on-rails segments, I would say: A very short but extremely fun and refined entry into the Star Fox series, with excellent music. However, 80-90% of the playtime occurs in annoyingly buggy and tedious off-rails levels. Sigh.

I have no idea why the team behind Star Fox and the X series is so obsessed with free-flight; it's consistently the weakest part of their games. That's a real shame for Command, as it has nothing else. I did like the branching plotlines, tho.

A re-release of the original N64 game with updated graphics and a much more convenient score attack mode. However, no real new content (multiplayer mode is forgettable), and Slippy is still damn annoying.

Obviously based on a play, since everything happens in just a couple of different locations. However, it's a *good* play, and a good adapation of it.

3DS port of my personal favorite in the venerable Metal Gear series. Gameplay and story still hold up well. The visuals look great in 3D, but framerate is spotty. Biggest issue: very odd control mapping which will give you hand cramps.

A solid, challenging member of the Mario family, uses 3D very successfully for both aesthetics and game-play. Shows a lot of influence from both Galaxy and NSMB, combining some of the best of both. My only beef: the tag mode stuff is just tacked on.

A bit on the short side (although still much longer than the first Super Mario Land), and a couple of the levels were unnecessarily frustrating. Play it if you really need a Mario fix but 3D Land isn't available.

I was expecting a lot after Flower, and game not only delivers on that promise but literally took my breath away at times. The texture work is astounding, the "silent companion" social aspect works surprisingly well, and the pacing is spot-on.

The individual protagonists were interesting, but the overall plot was just one giant cliche, along with the (evil, but unconvincingly so) villain. I enjoyed more the subplot with Lisbeth's revenge on the rapist, but it concluded early.

Up there with the original Picross DS in difficulty and longevity. Very cool new mechanic, solid interface. The little 3D animations unlocked after each puzzle are quite charming. The music is teeth-grindingly annoying, but luckily easy to turn off.

I really wanted to like this game; it has an interesting setting and not-bad graphics, and the voice acting is decent. But the constant barrage of interrupting cutscenes, cliched characterizations, unreliable controls, and trite gameplay killed it.

One of the first 3DS downloadable titles, this one really jumps out at you with its well-designed puzzle mechanics and subtle but helpful use of stereoscopy. I also greatly appreciated the addition of a level editor. The style is a touch too cutesy.

A solid if not especially original tower defense game. I enjoyed the blueprint graphics scheme; it would've been so easy for them to do a generic space thing, but this looked far better. The music is surprisingly catchy as well. Quite challenging.
