The rare game that exceeds its own hype. Humorous but involving, strong puzzles with exhilaratingly fun solutions.
Really wanted to like this one for its interesting theme, but the puzzles are (as usual for old adventure games) not satisfying at all.
The first two hours are the best adventure game I've ever played. Quality of gameplay and storytelling drop so badly after that, though, I can't forgive it.
Fun, fairly challenging platformer game with several unique mechanics and lots of variation in the later levels and bosses.
Even better than the highly enjoyable first season. Funny stuff, easy but enjoyable puzzle-solving. Play them all, but not in one sitting.
Hilarious follow-up to the old classic adventure game. Somewhat on the easy side, but still quite enjoyable. Making Max the POTUS was brilliant.
Classic platforming-puzzle action with lots of challenge and lots of variation between levels. Very funky and unusual music.
The game that hooked me on story games. Random battles are really annoying, but nevertheless FF7 set my bar for movie-like storytelling in games.
As usual for Final Fantasy, an enjoyable story and strong production values are obscured by annoying, repetitive gameplay. Still, great music.
Wonderfully imaginative world completely obscured by terrible gameplay and awful English voice acting. Grinding is even more annoying than usual for an RPG.
A step in the right direction for FF: smarter and quicker gameplay, plus the usual high Square production values. But, still too grind-y. Sub-par music for FF.
An RPG but, yay, non-random battles. Quirky yet full of feeling. This is the game that first convinced me games could be wonderful.
Exhibits all the usual problems of 3D Sonic games: terrible camera, terrible voice-acting, breaks the fun running parts with annoying puzzles and platforming.
One of the first creative games, successfully created that feeling of artistic potential. Tech limitations on animation could be overcome with clever VCR usage.
Fun world, strong gameplay core, very interesting alchemy system. However, pace dragged after the first couple hours, and multiplayer was desperately needed.
