One of the most unusual games I've played; very well named. Requires very subtle movement. The music slowly changes as you ascend. Simple but effective graphics
A fairly successful return to overhead-style Zelda. Wisely uses a few multi-purpose tools instead of many. Mic usage is annoying, indirect ship control is meh.
Fantastic return to 2D Zelda. Strong levels, great multiplayer balance. I think this would've been a hallowed classic were it not for the silly GBA/cable req.
One of the earliest music games with its own soundtrack. Great style and funky music, but it's largely broken by an extremely picky timer and uninformative UI.
Better interface than the original, but a tiny song count and (in reverse of the first's mistake) overly forgiving timer make this a half-hour playthrough.
Just as stylish and catchy as the predecessor PaRappa, but without much of that game's frustrations.
Very similar to the original Batallion Wars, but unfortunately without much of that one's spark. Also, the Wiimote controls work quite poorly.
My favorite sports game. Snowboard all the way from the top of the mountain to the bottom. Great licensed music, ridiculous tricks, lots of hidden goodies.
Very good, not quite as strong as its sequel. The wind-up trick system still holds up well. Wish I could do the robot as good as Eddie can.
Started out the free-roaming skateboard game craze. Well-designed; really was lots of fun to find the many lines between objects in a level. Good licensed music
My favorite of the series. Loads of easter eggs and fun levels to explore, strong licensed music. Reverts make it a bit too easy to keep your combos going forever.
Inspired a lot of other writers on to even greater heights, but also a solid, fun read in and of itself. Very prescient of a lot of future computer tech.
The start of the series' descent into mediocrity. Having to walk around: bad idea. Endless combos without effort: even worse idea.
I'm a huge fan of the series, but the sound quality in the first game is so low that it's hardly enjoyable at all. Props for starting the series, but buy >MAX.
Tracks all look similar, bad tutorial, unreliable IR-based trick controls literally made me want to throw my Wiimote at the wall. Avoid, play SSX 3 instead.
