Great movie, entertaining but gets at you in a very personal way. Shows that Jim Carrey can be a solid actor; let's see him in some more roles like this!

Hilarious, well-done movie, I've seen it many times and expect to see it many more. Good soundtrack, lots of little details, Coen brothers at their comedic peak

Amusing little flick. Stuck to its premise pretty well, unlike the sequel. Goes for all the easy jokes, but hey, they're all good easy jokes.

This book is the best explanation there is for what it's like to be an adolescent. Holden is stuck in a world he doesn't really understand, and doesn't want to.

Pretty good. A lot of the mythological references are predictable, and the "belief makes Gods real" thing is overplayed. But, book's still funny and smart.

My favorite Gaiman novel. Consistently fascinating and disturbing all at the same time. You can't help but think of hidden worlds around every corner...

I've never been into American Football, but this book still caught and held my attention. LT was an interesting guy with an interesting life and problems.

Liked it a great deal, though many of the Shakespeare jokes went over my head like *whoosh*. Especially memorable was the rhetorical tennis game.

Very satisfying movie, lots of detail and warm lighting. Plus, one of the villianest villians I've ever seen in a movie; no over-the-top, but no empathy either.

Solidly done but rather forgettable. And seriously, the portrayal of the villagers is still racist; you can't play the "it's a classic" card on that one.

Smartly done spy story, with none of the tounge-in-cheek of old James Bond or overcomplication of new Bond. Matt Damon surprisingly good actor! Bad sequels tho.

Disappointing to me as such a fan of the first movie. Awful shaky-cam action scenes. And the "new movie requires new girl, kill off old one" trope is silly.

Couldn't get into it. Uninteresting magical world, over-primed mysteries, prose style which tried to satirize purple prose, but ended up just copying it.

One of my very favorite books. Every single page has something fascinating going on. Complex, yet witty and fun moment-to-moment. I've read it several times.

An enjoyable RPG with a refreshing lack of random battles. Captures the Mario feel pretty well. Innovative isometric view. Timing-based battles work very well.
