This series is growing a little stale, and the 3DS iteration is phoning it in more than ever. I enjoyed the arcade-y feel of the levels, but 90% were flat and uninspired. The battle and race side-games were terrible; bring back Monkey Target!

A great follow-up to Phantom Hourglass, and it did surprisingly well with the train theme. Fun dungeons, with some genuinely tough puzzles near the end. Having Zelda actually travel with you was exciting. Hunting for rabbits was *not*.

Groundbreaking for its time, but in many ways it doesn't age very well. The every-conspiracy-ever-is-true thing becomes just silly. Could've used a proper map HUD. I did like that every problem has multiple solutions, and the variety in mods.

The best of the "dark" Coen Brothers movies. The strange ending frustrates, but in a good way; a good show ends leaving you wanting more.

Very good, but still not quite as good as Batman Begins. Everyone says Ledger is awesome as the Joker... and everyone is right.

Disappointingly shallow adaptation of a deep book. Embarassing misuse of Cohen music. This should've been a mini-series instead. Ending better than squid, tho.

Good solid popcorn flick. Makes me want to build my own supersuit, which is exactly the point. Potts has the magic power to run on a grated floor with heels!

Ah Miyazaki, we love you so. I wasn't quite as into this as some of his other work, but it was still well-done and just as overflowing with charm as expected.

My favorite Miyazaki movie. An excellent foray into the world of Japanese folk legends, and also an insightful kids' movie with multiple layers of depth.

My other favorite Miyazaki movie. :-) Absolutely adorable characters, not quite as fanciful as say Spirited Away, but this is deliberate, for characterization.

Excellent, one of Miyazaki's older-themed movies, but still appropriate for kids. Harsh magical world, characters who are willing to fight hard for their values

I think this is the ideal introduction to Miyazaki, especially for children. Keeps an insistent theme of self-motivation running throughout, without preaching.

Alright science fiction, by movie standards. Poor science fiction, by science fiction standards. Girl who hates violence solves problems with deadly kicking?

One of Miyazaki's weaker films. Got to love the flying scenes, and the depiction of village life.

A cult classic with a genuine twist ending, and many many layers beneath its gruff and entertaining hard candy shell. Better than the book. Ed Norton wins again
