Fun, just like the original, only somewhat more refined. Also like the original: some of the games are great, some are just nonsense, but they're all well presented and invigorating. My favorite is the Swordplay Showdown.
A fairly fun movie if you're willing to turn your brain all the way off, but honestly it's not really worth seeking out. If you've got an urge for a popcorn action movie, do yourself a favor and re-watch Aliens or The Matrix instead.
A very stylish and well-thought-out sci-fi/noir movie. It's kind of like a full-length Twilight Zone episode, but less wacky. You could compare it to The Matrix or Inception, but you're better off just watching it on its own merits.
A pretty good SNES port of the famous and highly-regarded PC game; however, it suffers severely for lack of mouse support. This game just has too many little widgets to be playable with a gamepad!
A comprehensive upgrade from the original SimCity. Introduced the highly influential underground construction mechanic. I really enjoyed the biome towers and other futuristic touches. However, the old-fashioned zoning got a little tedious.
The main characters are some of the worst human beings I can imagine; they aren't even evil, that would imply competence. But, the premise works! Watching these people try to interact with the regular world is incredible and hilarious.
Action game of the purest sort. All about reflexes, studying enemy patterns, and staying right in that arcade zone. I replay this often.
Mario in his best form. Lovely environments and orchestrated music. Not quite as explore-y as Sunshine, but highly polished and authored. Worth multiple plays.
Best game in the 2D Mario series. Crayon-drawn graphics, catchy music, strong level design. Lots of replayability to get all the hidden stuff.
Endless multiplayer enjoyment. Adventure mode somewhat weaker, but still quite enjoyable, especially co-op. Joy in a box for all you Nintendophiles out there.
Solid game in a solid series. Overworld somewhat underwhelming, Zelda formula showing its age. However, gotta love the Yeti dungeon, and the Wiimote controls.
Great style, lots of fun, and filled with personality and nice little touches. Mid-to-end game lags badly, however.
One of the most influential and highly-regarded games ever made, and for good reason. Very memorable, huge amounts of content. Forest Temple is my fave.
Thoughtfully designed, sincere game with wonderful world design, memorable and dramatic score, and strong emotional involvement . The foremost "art game".
The very best argument for the single-player FPS design. Very good flow between tense action and environmental storytelling.
