Interesting characters and well done photography, but unfortunately ruined by a plot that jumped wildly around and never really established a pace. I'm into this kind of historical drama, but there wasn't enough history or drama for me.

The game that started the venerable and wacky series, it has just that level of Japanese weirdness we expect from these sorts of games. Re-uses a few assets from Wario Land 4, but not many, and I love those SFX anyways. Main problem: it's very short.

A very fun little top-down brawler with a strong personality. The narrator is very good at reacting appropriately to nearly any action. The levels follow a noticeable formula, but new surprises are introduced frequently. Aiming is a bit wonky.

Improves greatly on both the story and gameplay elements of the first ME. Still not as strong as a dedicated shooter, but I had plenty of fun with the newly streamlined powers and cover mechanic. However, it oddly has no gay relationships.

Enjoyed the Star Trek-esque focus on story, character and world-building over action. But, there was still a fair amount of action, and it was unfortunately rather poorly implemented, particularly inventory management. Great voice acting.

Well-implemented RE4-style horror game; the dismemberment theme is consistent (and consistently creepy) throughout. Also, masterful use of ambient motion and noise to keep player on edge. Each scene well done, but overall plot is meh.

A refined and refreshing entry into the long-running franchise. Skyward Sword streamlines many of the series' traditions while simultaneously introducing novel yet fleshed-out motion-based controls. Shows what Nintendo wanted out of Wii all along.

Fun, humorous, and frantic. Almost too much so; there are so many explosions and elemental effects everywhere that it's easy to get lost. Made up for by the responsiveness of the controls and the variety of spells. Best played with friends.

A blatant rip-off of the Phoenix Wright mechanics, this game's puzzles are unfortunately not as well implemented, nor as clever. Also, it is not as funny as the show it came from, though it does have its moments, particularly when Mentok is around.

Very much in the spirit of the other Ace Attorney games, Investigations focuses on storytelling and characterization. The new navigation system is also fun, with good sprites, and blessedly sans the back-tracking. I only miss the court scenes.

An absolutely incredible testament to the possibility for continued innovation in video games. Plus, it's a lot of fun! :-) Nearly every object and situation you can think of is implemented in this cartoony simulation.

Very fun concept, executed quite well. I particularly loved the narration. However, the movie also unfortunately incorporates a lot of nasty stereotypes, which it could've avoided easily.

I enjoy action games that have been carefully tweaked and tuned and shined to a polish, as this one clearly has. But frustratingly, even after prolonged practice, the inputs for most combos and moves just won't execute reliably! That ruins it, sadly.

As a big fan of prior Punch-Out games, I'm happy that the series' humor and tightly-tuned, challenging gameplay are fully intact in this new iteration. The cel-shaded graphics are just right. But, the character stereotypes don't hold up well today.

Very funny treatment of the fairy-tale movie genre; it isn't just a role-reversal, it also pokes fun at nearly every other standard element of the old Disney films. Myers pulls off the accent well, and Diaz clearly had a lot of fun with her role.
