Super-wealthy investors (the sharks) interrogate would-be entrepreneurs to determine whether to spend their money backing them. Intriguing look into the business minds of the panel of five investors. Humorous, highly educational and fascinating.

Hands down my favorite novel ever. Circumstances expose the true characters of the wealthy, reserved Darcy and high-spirited Lizzy and their respective families. Some in the Bennet family are almost modernly dysfunctional. Full of witty dialogue.

Had seen several episodes, later saw the pilot--filled in necessary information & increased my attraction to the show immensely. Consistently good writing. Well-developed characters. Now one of a handful of shows I really look forward to seeing!

This movie is in my top ten best of all time. The story of an everyman real-life hero in the midst of the immense evil of the Rwandan conflict--beautifully played by Don Cheadle.

Just watched this for the first time and found it somewhat entertaining. Obviously a film from a play, but Fonda and Redford in their youth are fun to watch. The adventures of newlyweds in their first apartment overcoming post-honeymoon problems.

Loved Bullock and Steenburgen-- both reliably hilarious--but the love story didn't work for me because of the age difference--although Bullock doesn't look old, Reynolds's character seemed so young that he could have been her son. Still very funny.

One of very few movies that I personally own and never tire of watching--Audrey is the perfect princess, and the movie is a captivating blend of Roman scenery and perfect chemistry between Hepburn and Peck. Eddie Albert lends superb comic support.

Nathan Fillion is perfectly cast as devil-may-care, boyish novelist Rick Castle, and Stanic Katic plays Kate Beckett--a police detective who is tough without losing her feminine appeal. Sparks fly. Scripts are usually good, sometimes predictable.

Even as an adult, one of my all time favorites--sweet, understated, witty and charming.

I had read the book first, so wondered if it would translate well to film. McAdams was spot on, and the movie captured the spirit of the story amazingly well.

A tearjerker, but not a sappy or contrived one. Excellent acting by De Niro with a great supporting cast.

Perfectly written story of the interplay between mercy and justice set against the backdrop of the French revolution. Characters become like old friends--the stories of Valjean and Fantine are particularly poignant.
