the lesson learned about how humans are greedy, and its their ultimate downfall was ok, but the film was all over the place. some of the characters were annoying, camerons performance was C-

Some of these weren't bad, others were horrible - Ethan Hawke was a hyperactive mess. I can't give it any credit for being a movie though, because it was a series of mostly unrelated vignettes in New York City which happens to be feature film length.

This lady is full of wit and hilarity the perfect lady next to Austen Eliza Bennet. Classic read for everyone, a must have in your library.

Stumbled on this by accident - a good documentary about the life on an aircraft carrier. Far more interesting than I would have expected, the ship is like its own little city.

Very slow-paced documentary but well worth watching until the very end for lovers of writing and books. Picks up a bit after Part I and rewards those who hang in there. Lots of precious nuggets.

A cute take on Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night". Cant complain really a real comedy like it was meant to be.

As much as I hated Laura Harris at the beginning of Dead Like Me, by the end she was rather endearing, and Sarah Wynter doesn't really do the role justice. The back-story was retold in a bland fashion, and not much added to the original series

Sometimes loses you in a couple parts but gets you back on track fine. Makes you ponder what the heck they were thinking painting a picture was like for someone in the 17 or 18 hundreds.

Solid, but not spetacular. John Travolta is generally a pretty good bad guy - but there is nothing special about this film to set it apart from other action movies. I think Swordfish is a better choice for a Travolta villain movie.

Provides a good, non-fad answer to "what should we humans actually be eating?" Thick and scholarly but very readable. Taubes examines a gamut of nutritional studies and draws conclusions he did not expect to reach when he began his research.

Fairly good, you almost don't notice Keanu Reeves monotone acting. It's easy to see why this film made Sandra Bullock famous - she managed to capture the viewer while being a secondary character.

Great mellow out meditation music. Lyrics are very real, haunting- in a way. Of course the beauty lies in the instrumental tracks. Eerie beauty. Melodramatic beauty. Think of someone who was once close to you

A slightly silly Tim Allen comedy, probably pretty funny for kids though. The Mafia seemed a little out of place, but besides that it was a decent story with a feel-good ending.

There are some major plot twists, but overall Jack has cheesy lines and he's a stereotypical 80s Private Investigator. There are tits in this movie, but they are 80s tits which makes them small and weird looking. The special effects are horrible.

Strange story that would have been a disaster with anyone except for Jack Nicholson, who is awesome in this role.
