Reese Witherspoon's second best role - after Cruel Intentions. A feel good film with a cute story and a decent cast.

The first third of this movie was fast paced and entertaining - then it devolved into an uninspired 'heartfelt romance' type film. Not terrible, but not particularly good either.

I wish I could take Kim Darby, the horse salesman, and the funeral director from this film and put them in the remake. On its own it's just an okay film - but much more genuine than the True Grit remake.

Very well acted - Carey Mulligan is fantastic - with a good story. A quite sad alternate-reality film where clones are raised for organ donations. It isn't really science fiction in the conventional sense - more of an emotional drama.

Well acted, but difficult to watch because Christian Bale portrays his addict role so well. A sad movie throughout - not your normal tough-road-to-victory boxing film.

I'm normally not a big fan of this type of film - but Diane Lane and John Malkovich made it thoroughly enjoyable. The rest of the cast was very good as well.

I didn't have high hopes for this prequel, but it was actually good - what Death Race should have been. More story but still plenty of action, without the 'good guy in jail' nonsense.

I like Ryan Reynolds and don't mind one room films similar to Exam - but 90 minutes of one guy in a coffin talking on a cell phone was enough to put me to sleep. This sort of project would be better as an audio tape.

Australian, and pretty well acted - except the stoner character who was fairly annoying in the beginning. A fun film that will probably turn into a series of movies - geared toward teen and young adult audiences.

After watching the original True Grit many of these characters seem like a bad parody - especially Hailee Steinfeld. The ending was more entertaining in this film, and Jeff Bridges and Matt Damon were pretty good.

Visually interesting with a passable story to back it up. The cast does a decent job and although the story is fairly one dimensional it manages to keep your attention throughout.

More of a bad acid trip than a psychological thriller - this film had an unexpectedly creepy and exploitative tone.

An exceptionally average film - Depp and Jolie weren't at their best, and the plot twist is so obvious that I knew how it ended after watching a trailer. That doesn't mean it's a bad film, just not particularly great in any way.

Sitcom ADHD, the scenes switch so rapidly and often. Some of the jokes were funny but it will be hard for the writers to keep up the pace for a whole season.

Rosario Dawson and Denzel Washington were excellent - I never expected a movie about a runaway train to be good, much less a gripping thriller. The whole cast was good, and the script was flawless.
