MasterChef is more entertaining than this version, since 'real people' have more of a passion for cooking and a drive to win, generally.

I'm not a big fan of how they eliminate people, keeping only one from each heat - rather than eliminating the worst. This was fixed in MasterChef US and I think it makes the show much more entertaining.

A guilty pleasure - the series starts with some terrible acting, yet is enjoyable. Ksenia Solo nails her role as the hyper, sarcastic sidekick. Pleasantly, it doesn't over-use special effects. The plots remind me of Sanctuary

A decent cast, most recognizably Grace Park from Battlestar Galactica for sci-fi fans. While the show is not particularly good or bad, I wish they would stop marketing these as remakes of old series - especially when much of the feel is different.

Much like the classic Law & Order, though from the court side mostly - and slightly less exciting.

Should have been darker, and the comic book section seemed out of place. The acting wasn't very good, but that was expected - and the close to death fights had really low production values. Max Payne is an example of this type of film done right.

In a lot of bad ways this reminds me of Lost - unbelievable story, far too much jumping around the timeline, and just a general frantic vibe. Passable enough to watch if nothing else is on - but not good.

This show is far better than In Plain Sight - starring Kelli Giddish as a charmingly southern US Marshal. I'm not terribly impressed with Cole Hauser playing his normal role, but the rest of the cast is decent - and the plots are entertaining

A very low key sci-fi. Not very exciting but decent acting and a passable, though simple, plot. They also get credit for not trying to hide or obscure the aliens. The story would have been much the same replacing aliens with a normal war zone.

A great cast, decent acting, and good story - but a few scenes are much too long, and really drag the story. If this had been 90 minutes instead of 120 it would have been much better.

As much as I don't like Tom Cruise this was a pretty solid action comedy. Cameron Diaz managed to pull off decent chemistry with him, and the flow of the film kept things entertaining throughout.

Vaguely interesting immigration debate forms the backbone for this Tarantino-esque B-movie. A lot of big names delivering laughable lines and over the top performance - a serious film, this is not.

A fairly interesting documentary, though some of it had a weird conspiracy theory vibe because of the people involved. Still, they seemed to gather good evidence, and told an interesting story

They didn't even bother with a legitimate storyline in this film - it felt more like watching someone play a video game, only less entertaining. This series is steadily going downhill as they leave each movie open for a sequel.

A lot like Big Brother, but with a cast picked from The Bachelor franchise the contestants seem a lot more emotionally desperate and irrational. The show also steals some of its elimination competitions from Survivor, but that can't redeem it
