A decent cop show about Chicago corruption. I probably find it more amusing since I'm from Chicago - but the cast is pretty good and work well together, and the stories are reasonably realistic.

It's rare to see a movie where so little happens. The acting is fine, but a movie should actually have a good story as well.

A reasonably good paranormal drama - with realistic spirits that aren't stereotypically good or evil. The cast is passable, though I'm not sure why they went to such great lengths to declare Will Young's character straight, while he acts so gay.

I was initially interested, but that ended abruptly when one of the main characters was dispatched in the first episode. The second episode seemed rather lackluster and contrived by comparison. Disappointing.

A quirky show that only lasted one season - but should have lasted much longer. Each of the cast members are strange but endearing in their own way. Unsurprisingly, the creator (Bryan Fuller) also came up with Dead Like Me and Pushing Daisies

The movie had a good atmosphere and a fairly engaging cast. I wasn't enamored with the supernatural aspect, but overall it was a reasonably entertaining film. The plot moved at a relaxed pace, but it felt right with the southern nature of the story.

I can't fault the music, it was decent - and the club setting was neat. The poor bartender boy-toy wasn't great though, and Kristen Bell was fairly bad, as usual. They should have gone a less cliche direction with Christina Aguilera's character story

A suspenseful and entertaining conclusion, but the first half is angsty and chaotic without clear timelines. Elizabeth Banks makes you question at times why he would want to rescue her, but Brian Dennehy was excellent in his small role.

Could have been a cool assassin movie but they made it into a common Statham action flick instead. A precision killer that trains a guy who bungles every job and leaves enough evidence to convict a circus, yet never gets caught? Predictable ending.

Probably not historically accurate, but if you watch it as fiction the story is fairly suspenseful and compelling.

Everything good in this film is in the trailer. This is not a dirtier version of The Social Network - it's a mess of voice-overs and fairly pedestrian story with a vaguely amusing ending.

Really disappointing for such a strong cast. The major problem was the script, not the acting - it felt contrived and cold until the last ten minutes when the characters finally came out with some emotion.

Halle Berry's acting is so good it's startling when she first switches to the "Genius" personality. Unfortunately there isn't a whole lot to the story - the first flashback gives away the entire plot. Probably only 30 min of plot stretched to 90 min.

A decent suspenseful historical fiction flick about the Iraq war. The flow is decent and the plot keeps things interesting - and all the characters are passable. Definitely a military film though - don't expect The Bourne Identity type action.

An excellent suspense film about terrorism and interrogations. The cast is fantastic and the plot is good as well. The movie addresses moral questions without feeling preachy - and all the characters feel very human, no matter how evil they are.
