A great fantasy movie with a neat story and an excellent cast. Dakota Blue Richards is perfect for her role, and shines as the star of this film. My only complaint is that the ending is so open for a sequel that it felt like half a movie.

Like a modern version of The Breakfast Club this fun character piece has a great cast and an excellent soundtrack.

Owen Wilson is his goofy, charming self; though the rest of the cast is good they don't add a much spirit to the film. This is a very slow thriller, not much happens during the first three quarters of the movie. House on Haunted Hill is a better choice.

This supernatural thriller is a lot of fun - the cast is amusing and the plot moves along at a good pace.

Not even close to the original House on Haunted Hill - this resembles a B quality slasher flick. Before all the killing starts this movie goes at a snail's pace, delivering some bad dialog to top it all off.

One of the strangest movies I've seen - but Joan Cusack was perfect for her role - hilarious. Hilary Duff and Ben Kingsley were particularly ludicrous, but somehow it didn't seem out of place in this odd comedy.

Fun to watch Steve Buscemi and Sienna Miller banter. This charming character piece - filmed (mostly) in one room - had an amusing script with an excellent ending. Not much happened, but it is an enjoyable movie.

Robert Redford and Brad Pitt are great in this spy thriller. The plot is interesting, script, acting, and overall pacing are good as well.

The best thing this movie has is April Scott, and her acting isn't great. The plot is a mess, and the acting is worthy of a low budget direct-to-video film.

Jessica Simpson has the looks for the role, but her accent and acting are terrible. Seann William Scott and Johnny Knoxville can be amusing, but the unmemorable plot pretty much tanks this movie.

Samuel L. Jackson and Christian Bale were great, but the pace of this movie really dragged. The plot was fairly standard, so good acting was really the saving grace.

Non-conformist pseudo-intellectualism. My only thought during this movie: "This must be an enjoyable film for teens striving to be unique, yet really aren't."

Started slow, but the acting was good, and the script was reasonably interesting. Definitely a character movie, not a whole lot of overarching plot, but it offers some interesting scenes throughout.

Highly entertaining, even though it seems wrong in so many ways. Christopher Walken plays the role in such an unusual way that it is totally over the top, yet entertaining. The supporting cast is full of recognizable names, and the plot is amusing.

A really fun fantasy movie - with a cast like Claire Danes and Michelle Pfeiffer I don't know how I missed this one. All the elements of a classic fantasy story - magic, witches, pirates, and kings - woven into one enjoyable tale.
